thomas and friends mini series

So I managed to order some of the knockoff minis. They were differnt from the original picture but still cool. They are actually made of die cast metal. The bottoms and faces are plastic. Just something fun for the collection.

Did you open them? If so, how do they roll, compared to the official minis (weighted and non-weighted)? Are they weighted inside, and how do the metal bodies seem to affect play? Did you notice much variation within the 6 in your set?

Hope you don't mind so many questions, but they are like an alternate-universe version of the Minis and I'm curious about "what might have been"
