Hey Tramp, are those original Tamiya from the 80s 90s? or the reissue ones? While I was doing my RC research and noticed that Tamiya returned some of the classic RCs like the Pumpkin and Hornet.
I used to have the Clod Buster, Lunch Box, Pumpkin and other RCs like kyosho, Losi and such. Just Like Plarail, one err ten was not enough Big Grin

Ha, yeah, same for me, there are always more to collect! I really fancy an old racing buggy like a optima or a Losi junior X or similar, it's amazing how the technology for these has changed so much! For me, they are mostly new models, the Tamiya hornet

(Front right) is a re-release, the midnight pumpkin I used for the donor in the project was an original 80's pumpkin, but they have been re-released too - do I didn't feel bad about cutting it up, third back on the right is a Schumacher fireblade USA which isn't vintage yet but isnt far off at 98'. I quite like the re-releases, it's good for the market and gives people a chance to buy these vintage cars without having to pay the extortionate amounts true vintage cars go for! I'd like a koyosho scorpion re-re

Earlier on you said about getting a car for Evan? Well I bought the Maverick scout for sam, (4th back on the left) I wanted one he could drive off the road, but wasn't fast enough to be damaged when ran into things, so far he's getting on okay with it, although it's not the prettiest of RC cars!
