Wow! I once tried to automate a Plarail layout with Mindstorms NXT. I never thought they made something like this. Is it rare? I'd love to see a demonstration by someone who has it.
Only problem: would it interfere with Mr. Motorman? I wish they rereleased this and/or remade it for Plarail Advance.

Sometimes I feel some of the tomy train parts and accessories such as this one cater to older people like adults.
Also I think Tomy R-19 replaced the remote control point rail. Just in case people don't know I am talking about, here is a link that shows the R-19 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10048793
