Hyper Guardian - Trainfanz - 07-03-2018

Recently pulled out all my Hyper Guardian trains (though they are the US releases with the "Hypercity Rescue" name on the stickers). How many of you have stumbled across these in auction land? I'd love to get the Japanese ones eventually, especially since a few of them never came out over here.

RE: Hyper Guardian - Super - 07-04-2018

We have had several of these when my Grandson was small and enjoyed playing with them but some of them had small parts that easily came off and would get lost. I think there is also a different yellow drilling train with a different type of rotating drill on the front.

Yes they had an orange team later down the line (I believe the big orange train belonged to black team) with a redo of the drill.

Yeah the bits did come off real easy... I don't have the bucket to one of my fire trains...

i like the purple train.  especially the car carrier.

You are right, it was orange. Other than the color and drill bit they look to have come from the same mold.

Below is also a picture of a blue one that I don't recognize and I always was intrigued by the huge, double track beast in the video.

i still haven't figure out the purpose of the green rolling stock. I simply removed the green portion of the it and turned it into a flat bed.

RE: Hyper Guardian - Trainfanz - 07-04-2018

The Green train was supposed to be a repair train. The back car had a ramp to allow trains to drive up onto it.

I really need to get around to buying some of these, super rad.

RE: Hyper Guardian - Off The Rails - 07-04-2018

Yeah, I have a few of these on my “want list”. I’m especially interested in the middle power cars for use as general purpose freight engines.

I REALLY like the articulated steam locomotive but holy cow, they’re expensive now!

Yeah it's hard to find a Trans-Liner for a good price now. I don't know what the guy who wants 500+ dollars for it is thinking considering there's a boxed one for 1/10th of the price RN.
