That is Fantastic Mike...surely a one of a kind, great job. This idea never dawned on me, was it very hard to create and are you going to offer these on Ebay? I would think they would be popular...Steam Along Hiro, has a ring to it Smile

I personally agree. Smashing job, Mike. Smile

Thanks Super and Marc!!! Wow... I really don't know about selling it. There's alot of time with a micro paint brush, and parts from other Hiro's.

Well, they don’t have to be made continuously. It could be a once in while thing.

Very cool Mike. I have an interesting Hiro mod that I picked up from the Japan auctions, I will get a post up once it arrives. These Steam Along locos are really cool and as you know can be as intriguing to work on as the Tna’s.. :-)

I know I'm not the first person to do this type of install, I have watched you guys do this for years now, but its my first LED install.  I installed a 3mm 4-9V DC off white LED (you can pick them up at model train stores or online) in the Steam Along Hiro's headlight today.  It looks pretty cool, especially with what looks a fire ball shooting out the top of the smoke stack.  Follow the youtube link below, and tell me what you think. Thanks!  PGM
