A CLEAR PLARAIL THOMAS IS FINALLY BEING RELEASED.

For the 75th Anniversary of Thomas and Friends, Plarail will be releasing a clear thomas, along with a clear winston and chirin tekoro Percy and James.
I have been waiting for this for a long time, and I know a lot of other members have too. Sorry the image is VERY blurry but I only found it on twitter just now and was just so excited I had to share.
Here is also a press release from Tomy about what they're going to do for the 75th anniversary of Thomas which confirms the release of this AMAZING set along with others.

Not only will that clear Thomas look good with the clear brown Annie & Clarabels, but looks to be a perfect match for the clear blue Annie and Clarabels.
Even though I don't care for the other stuff with Thomas I may have to pick it up just for him to add to the 'Future World Collection'

Sheesh, 5000 seems a little high for a set with only one motorized engine, but I know I'll be kicking myself in a few years if I don't pick one up...

I assumed the eyes were driven by the wheels on Thomas spinning because he is pushed by a powered car, but they also seem to move when he is on the stop tracks so he must have a little motor or solenoid to move them that is powered by the batteries that also do the talking.

His eyes move crazy fast. Another set for the Muddy collection.
So he talks to, I see a speaker place on his rear end. It looks like the back of the box shows a battery for the engine and one for the wagon.
