Layout Challenge - IGotYeeted - 03-05-2024

I recently "destroyed" my model train layout. I have plans to make it way better, but in the meantime I wanted to Challenge myself with my 4x8 ft piece of wood/foam and see what I could fit on it. This was my first attempt, and I'm beyond happy on how it turned out.

If anyone had a challenge for what to put on here, I would love to try and challenge my self to do it. I have both automatic switches and some other gimmicky stuff.

Well done Igot. Excellent use of the space allowed. Building and re-constructing a layout is one of my most favorite things. Keep up the good work and please show us your progress 👍

Good job. I love seeing layouts with automatic points/switches though.

In Japan they have the 'One Tatami Plarail Contest'.

What's the best layout you can build on a standard size Tatami Mat, which is 1 ken x 0.5 ken (approximately 6 ft x 3ft or 180 cm x 90cm)?

Here are the winners of the 2023 competition....

Thanks for the Link Dr Chris. Those are some neat Layouts with lots of items crammed into those limited spaces. Even though they don't seem to me usable, I particularly like those in the 'ART' category..very imaginative like the one with the Japanese letters for Plarail.

This is really cool! I'll have to try this at some point. Thanks for the link too!
