They will be blind bags like the first series.
Look at the last two numbers on the front of the bag.

We've just discovered these mini trains last weekend. Our 3-year old is obsessed with his mini trains! We have the wooden track, the blue track, the brown track, and the silver track. We hope they come out with tracks for these minis trains. We have one case full of the minis already and going back today to get more now that we have a list compiled from this forum. Thank you so much for the clue about the numbers on the bag as well as the detailed lists and photos of the trains in the series!

I'd think wave 2 is NOT available in the USA yet. I've been patiently waiting and still haven't seen any yet.

I went to Walmart today to get as many as I could now that I had a list. As far as the mystery packs went, they appear only to have the first wave. However, in buying the multi-packs, you get some wave two engines.

I have a 2.5yo little boy who is obsessed with thomas. Just discovered these minis while shopping at Walmart this week. Managed to buy the collector wheel, both 8 packs and 4/8 3 packs. Thanks to the lists shared in this thread, was able to complete the first wave by buying the blind bags.
I'm located in Canada and have seen blind bags containing the second wave trains. Not sure whether to wait for the 8packs and 3packs to come out to reduce the possibility of getting duplicates.
I used to be a collector (pez dispensers, smurfs, vintage fisher price, mcd happy meal toys etc etc) but stopped after I got married and had kids. Thanks to the minis for renewing my love of the chase
