Well I went to two Canadian tires and they had minis, but they were 2016/3 in both stores. I guess that's what they got around here. Positive to read that there's evidence of 2017 here, but still very frustrating.

That's too bad to hear. Vancouver locations seemed to have gotten the 2017/2 wave. First time I've seen anything past the 2017/1 out here. Totally agree with you about the poor job Mattel has done with distribution in Canada on the blind bag waves. Hoping they will step up and do a better job in 2018.

Yes! It's a new playset being released this year as part of the 2018 assortment of MINIS. Great to see new product being released

2018/1 has been sighted in the States. Re-releases include Tootsie-themed Dot Thomas & Fruit Chews Henry, both of which are currently unknown if are still exclusives to the States until 2017/8 are available in other countries. Here's the list for 2018/1. New releases are in CAPS.

I'm guessing they were spotted at Target. Haven't heard anything about them having weights again. I would guess that they won't. Too bad...
Attn Canadian MINIS collectors. 2017/2 blind bag wave seems to be showing up at Walmart. 6 months late but a good way to pick up a few extra or fill a few holes in your collection. And obviously so sign of anything 2018 yet. Not sure what licenses the MINIS will be crossing over with this year. Those seem to hit Canada early. We may not find out until the New York Toy Fair at the end of February. I'm guessing the blind bags and other items such as multi packs will be more evenly spread out this upcoming year. Mattel seemed to have had a tough time with switching over production from Thailand to China. Fingers crossed 2018 is a little more structured.
Has anyone actually seen the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles MINIS 4 pack at retail level? Nothing on eBay or Amazon either. The Fisher Price site has it listed but you can't buy like, like most of the MINIS listings on their website.
