After seeing the below video, I thought it may be interesting to have a topic where we can share hilariously bad and surprisingly good knockoffs.
I'll start things off with this "Duncan" (skip to 50 seconds if you value your sanity):
There is just something about the weird printed emoji face that I love about this one, especially the Thomas one on the back of the box. I searched through AliExpress but was unable to find this exact model, though I did find a number of Plarail knockoffs that appear to be from the same manufacturer as for some reason they all include those palm trees. If anyone has any leads on this let me know, would love to have one of these emoji engines for the novelty.
