I wished I could go to Japan and put up some Plarails myself. I'm also from the US as well. I wish I could visit all the re-sale shops in Japan where I see so many Plarail items for sale and to attend, just once, a Plarail Expo Event just to see the looks on all the children's faces and pick up some Event exclusives, if there's any Event Exclusive Plarail DD51s, I'll pick up 2 and use one to make Derek from T&F. Some locos I'll pick up two each, one for a custom, another as is.
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

Yes he is. The DD51 is best model to make his Plarail model. If I was at that Expo, I would of bought two of them.

Yes, however, "Plarail Car Train Hokkaido" can buy untill 5 sets.

"Car Train Hokkaido" is selling in 2018 Expo.

Maybe, 2019 Expo is selling too.

Plarail ”Car Train Hokkaido " is too expensive on ebay.
Man, the DD51 is one engine I really miss! I’m grateful that I’ve been able to buy some, along with some DE10s, from Super and couple other folks. The blue Hokkaido color scheme is one of my favorites but also the version I already have a few of. It would be great to see it and the DE10 as a general retail release again.

I wouldn’t mind having the Kato HO scale versions of the DD51 and DE10, either. Unlike a lot Japanese prototype steam locomotives, these two are relatively affordable in HO.
@Off the Rails,

In Japan, Plarail Fans like DE10.

But, Old Plarail Set is JR Hokkaido Special Set in DE10 (Green color).
