Rare Lighthouse/Tunnel

This is a really neat Lighthouse/Tunnel combination piece that I haven't seen very often. Anyone know where its from or the story behind it? Its a bit pricey but very cool none the less.

It seams that this is a very old piece: http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~akeda/DOLL/buhin3.htm

If you want to search for more info or listings the best term is "プラレール とうだいトンネル灯台".

Fantastic site Killer, thank you for the Link. I think I have seen the site before maybe with Links from either Jdogman or Plarnold but never managed to be able to navigate around. I just realized that Google does a great job translating the page and I can go forward but not back. Would you happen to have a Link to the beginning of the Plarail stuff this person has listed? There is lots of pictures of things I have been after and its nice to see how it originally came along with some information about it. I love those vintage bridges and just managed to get a new, in its package, Plate Garter Bridge and still trying for the others.

Thanks, this is just a great site especially when I see something on the Japan auctions. Why yes, there that tight U Turn track is and sold by itself not only in that set we found. So is this the beginning of the only Plarail stuff or is there more before these pages that seems to show the very vintage stuff?

I wonder why Plarail doesn't take a try at re-issuing some of these vintage items especially things like the arched bridge and that big set of High Rise building units for a Limited Time. Say like one or two a year. Its for sure they make nothing on the re-sale of such sought after items so why not bring back some for nostalgic purposes for all and make a little at the same time. They haven't released much in the way of new rail or scenic pieces in quite some time. Plarail, Are you listening?
