How did you make the grill in the front?
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

You just need to source train parts for HO or OO scale. Some times even O scale parts can be modified if something larger is needed.

I would try to find an HO scale photo etched radiator grill for an EMD diesel switcher. I know there’s one made for the old Lifelike (now Walthers) Proto 2000 SW9/SW1200 that might work.

As an alternative, I bought a bunch of different plastic radiator and other grills from Cannon and Company. These are narrow and meant for various second and third generation EMD hood units but can be cut and glued to build different sized grills.
