That sounds utterly foolhardy and extremely dangerous! I think it just might work! Big Grin

Let's just say maximum baggage allowance for each family member was used on the return trip. That even includes an unboxed Mega Station with the box carefully flattened out. Miraculously everything got back unscathed. Photo evidence to follow...

One of the more interesting Plarail shopping experiences in Japan was hunting out the shops that sell used toys.

Hobby Off has a few stores around Tokyo and is a subsidiary store of the Hard Off recycle stores.

Toy Planet is a bit harder to find but had heaps of used Tomica and Plarail for really good prices. You can see here tubs full of middle and end cars were all 100JPY each. Engines were usually about 350JPY. Bagged pieces of track about 250-200JPY. Everything clean and shrink-wrapped.

Wow, love that Toy Planet store. How nice would it have been to just shop their when one wanted to extend a train with a couple extra middle coaches or freight cars.

Thanks for sharing with us Finno.

That Toy Planet store looks amazing! I would love to get a chance to dig through that, looking for rolling stock.
