Is this the Kiha of which you speak?

No that one is also very rare that is the 3 car set, Kitaro kiha 40 that was and event limited release. I will try to find the Bantan line picture for you.

Here we go this is a set of the Kiha 40 Bantan Line 3 car set it is basically 3 Kiha locos coupled together, so 2 are dummy engines.

At least this one doesn't have stickered, flat sides. Why couldn't they have used molds for the shell like this for the Kitaro line? I am surprised and disappointed in Tomy/Plarails use of stickers for the details of the different Kitaro trains.

I personally dont mind the Stickers and don't think they would look as good had they done it any other way. It would be extremely hard to paint that kind of detail on and stickers put around the molded windows would not give it the feel of the real life wrapping of the train.
