"see ya around!"
Still waiting on a motorized sidney.
I wouldn't be surprise if Dodge and splatter will be released later.  The rolling stock once again is disappointing.

Paxton seems decent enough. I guess Mattel isn’t trying to play to the BWBA global market this time? Just a plain old hard working British diesel male character. Hmmmm....

I’m not a Thomas fan per se but I’m Daddy to one and also a parent who has bought A LOT of Thomas merchandise the past 6-7 years. The Unlucky Tug on YouTube did a great take down on Mattel’s fumbles in the “Big World...” era. While his video deals more with the predictably ham-fisted, ill-fated rework of the series, those of us on the toy collecting side saw similar stupid face plants in the merchandising. In light of the new, diverse international cast they tried shoehorn in to the show without any real story development and the upcoming Nelvana reboot aimed at a much younger audience, seeing Paxton in TM2 form is a refreshing throwback to back when they stuck with what worked.

Sorry for the rant.

Since I still can't see Ffar's photo I had to track down one for myself. From The Mighty Big Mac's  YouTube Channel we can see a comparison of the 2 versions of Paxton. I still prefer the original as it was very well made but at least the new Revolution looks nice. Wonder if they tried the same mold as they almost look identical?

Yeah, it’s a good looking engine. I kinda presume they used the mold of the TM2 Diesel. This is just me and my weird tastes of course but I think it’d be fun to have a whole railroad made up of defaced switchers! Certainly the Class 08 like Paxton but Class 04 and 07 like Mavis and Salty as well.

My opinion is the original Paxton is the best Class 08 model from the look to the 'Feel'. It just has a feel to it that all the others do not.

@OTR
Is the holiday Layout still in the plans???

@Super....
It was SUPPOSED to be done two weeks ago but life got in the way.

We will have a layout but it won’t be quite what I had envisioned.
