Wow, this catalog is huge because it also looks to include the huge Tomica line. Browsing through the Plarail section doesn't turn up any surprises to me or maybe I missed something?

Oops, I just found an error in the picture of the new Doraemon-GO! train that will be released soon. The stylized Doraemons snout on the middle door of the rear car is turned upside down:

Not a bad selection amongst the Plarail stuff, although I’d like to see at least one more steam locomotive. I think there’s one more C58 currently operating aside from the Imperial locomotive and the C58 Ginga. Maybe that could inspire a new release.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a reissued DE-10 either.

Edit to mention that it would be great if some of the current production stuff shown in the catalog wasn’t out of stock! My son and I both want KF-08 Crane cars for our trains but I’d prefer not to pay eBay scalper prices. Just sayin’....

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a reissue of the DD51 and some others.

Some new info on SC-03 Seibu Railway Doraemon-Go! Series 30000:

It will be released as SC-03, so Smile Train SC-03 Gudetama Seibu Series 30000 goes into history:



They published two similar pictures of the new Doraemon GO! train, and we can now clearly see that those stickers are optional. They can be applied or not:




(They still didn't correct the upside-down print on the third car middle doors on some pictures, though.)

The release date is December 17th, according to Platetsu, and suggested price is 3000 JPY. Reservations are now open on Takaratomymall (3300 JPY) and Hobby Search (2550 JPY).
It's a one-speed-motor train.
