Vintage Tomy Takara? Anyone know what this is?

Received the item in the post today. Very cool. It was actaully brand new. Still wired to the box and the instructions still taped to the inside. I have not taken it all out yet, but it has some track with it as well. Definately seems to be like the ones Nigel mentions. I will post more later..

Here we go. Definately looks like the real deal to me. Just some info on this. The date on the bottom is 2001. It takes 2 AAA. The top where the engine is goes up and down to turn it off and on in addition to the switch underneath. Comes with the two pieces of track and the manual and 2 pieces of track. Anyway here are some pictures.

Nope, I have not, so it makes this almost useless to me. I may post something in the trading zone.

Maybe if someone could translate some of that box you would have better words to use in searching for the track?

Yes that is exactly the range I've got, at the moment I have the diorama with steam loco, about 6 trains of various types and at least a dozen packs of track and some other accessories.

If you do decide to trade it let me know as Im always looking out for them
