I'll post the link when I get home...I'll try and get a general consensus here to see how avantagous it might be for him, and see if the Polish connection might just list them through eBay???
Seems like the easiest, safest way to make them available to us?? Thoughts?
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
Yeah muddy that sounds great, I'd defiantly buy a set, as in sure other members would too! I hate the fact that in the uk we have access to all of Europe but the language barrier makes things difficult! I've ordered things from America before because it's easier to find them and ship them halfway around the world than try and complete the order process in a language I don't understand!

If there are any (which I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest), they'd most likely sound like this:

They (almost) always use that terrible, generic soundchip for train/related toys. On the oversized Thomas knock offs (the ones I mentioned earlier), the buffer lights are synchronized with the soundchip.

Just for the sake of completeness - also Slovakia !!

Yeah - Slovakia too, but no English speaking countries! I know that in general the polish have a basic understanding of English, but it makes it hard to buy things when your not 100% sure what your going to get (if anything!)

Ps, thanks for correcting my Czech Republic spelling - I don't think anyone noticed, I've edited the original post too so no ones the wiser!

Well I certainly hope not and I wouldn't think those steam train sounds would be appropriate for the yellow EMD looking train. Speaking of that train, I just noticed it comes with 3 passenger coaches although they look more like passenger box cars because they are so squarish.

I do like the sound of the Tomy sound and steam trains along with the double C62 set. Off hand I can't think of any other Tomy steam trains with sound.

Still available in its Hypercity form on Amazon UK for peanuts:

Polish ebay has a steam train set available that the seller will ship internationally. You're welcome Smile

I took a chance and bought a set from this fellow as it wasn't that expensive. Anxious to see what it may look like.
