Considering they've recently released Henrietta, and there has been official concept art for a Capsule Plarail Ryan, Skiff, and a new Oliver, the Capsules probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
Of course the Capsules aren't going anywhere as I believe they are heavy into the Japanese train replicas but if they are buying a license who knows if that will expire too?

Here's a new blurry picture taken at a "gift show" according to the translation.

LOL...this is getting to be quite the mystery. Thanks Jdog. I wonder if this is just an Internet prank to see how far it goes because if this is real and it has been in public shows then we would have heard something by now.

Can we end this now?

Finally, a picture but I wonder why black and white. What does it say under the picture? Never thought I would say this but that face with the open mouth looks great. What makes me curious now is, has Plarail ever made a train or rolling stock that would not go under a bridge or through a riser? Skiff looks to be too tall unless the mast is flexible.

Thanks Jdog, best look so far.

I suppose the mast will be adjustable/removable in order to allow Skiff to clear a tunnel/bridge/riser/station.

And, just as predicted, Ryan looks very promising.
Kind of annoyed Skiff didn't get wheels of his own but Ryan looks excellent
I love how Ryan looks! I'm surely going to buy him when I can. I don't like the face too much, but it's definitely not bad, and I wish the counterweights were a few millimeters shorter, but the white running board, wheels, and correctly-sized boiler are enough for me to be satisfied.

At the 0:10 mark you can see in this new video that Skiff has to have his sail down in order to pass under the risers. I think if they just had made him with wheels (like Ucwepn says) instead of him up on a flat bed, they may have prevented this and the sail would have fit under. Just doesn't look right running around with his sail down or is this how he was in the movie/show?
