vintage japanese big loader set

5 Replies, 5324 Views

one of todays jauce arrivals. i won this a couple of months back, and im glad to have it home safe and sound.
i love the eyes on this set, and even parts of the build have them, like the hopper. the chassis works, but i had to loosen a screw to get it to go. weird, but previous tapping, wheel rolling and bending out the battery contacts slightly didnt help. go to take it apart, not even one twist on the screw and she bursts into life.

im not sure of age, im going to guess 70s, as it has the two little kids logo.

according to a plarailer on facebook, the lettering with the eyes reads "pink loader"

That is really cool. I had no idea they had sets like this so long ago and you have so many of them. Did you opt for the slowest cheapest shipping option for it to take so long to reach you?

cheers, super.
there is at least one more similar vintage japanese release. i was going to bid on one, but missed the closing time.

i had to wait for one last item to come in, so the set, and a couple of other bits, were sitting in the warehouse for a while. shipping took about a week, through EMS.

ive been told on facebook it is called pink loader Big Grin

It is just in fantastic condition, doesn't even looks to be played with. I am curious if Jauce has a storage fee if items are held at their warehouse for a certain amount of time. I think Japamart has a 30 day limit and a storage fee kicks in.

its in good shape. the motor wouldnt run initially, but when i went to take it apart it went. ive checked it this morning and there was a single strand of hair inside the casing, nothing wrapped around the gearing as i expected from the age. gave it some lube and she runs great. if its been played with, its been well looked after.

they do. its 45 days i think. i had until the weekend to get the shipment sent, and that afternoon the last item i was waiting on came in, so got it sent then. i have had it before where ive been waiting on something, got the email about the fee reminder and panicked, got the lot sent and then the item arrives, meaning i have to start over.

@sunhuntin,

It says from the top left "Tomy Work Behicles" and "Big Loader" on the right (the text with the eyes).
