Tamiya are a japanese kit maker, they tend to specialise in plastic construction kits (think Airfix), but also have a large range of radio controlled cars, tanks, etc... As part of that latter range they also sell spare parts, some of them being various different models of miniature motors. The ones referred to in this thread are such examples and can be bought from any Tamiya stockist or good modelling store.
