C11 Owigawa Thomas vs C12-50?

So, I’m comparing photos of the current Plarail C12-50 and C11 Owigawa Thomas with the idea of building a standard C11. Aside from the cosmetic additions intended to make the C11 look more like Thomas (character face, false splashers/fenders, blue color,etc), is there really any difference in the base body shell molding and chassis?

I am aware of the differences in the real life prototypes but it kinda looks like Tomy used the same mold for both engines.

I have seen several people call the Thomas Oigawa a C-11 and I have seen it called a C-12. Personally I see it as a perfect C-12 as the C-11 had the smoke deflectors as pretty much large visual difference
