For me, it's the whole point. For example, as the two seaside-related trains came (Salty and Beachy Nia), I just built a simple harbour/beach-layout, and - bam! - for that afternoon, I was on the sunny beach... in February! It's hard to see from the previous videos that the temperature was around 0 °C! ❄😁❄

Wow, that is a big set of characters. Are they really all metal like the box says?

These are mostly the usual Push Along engines, only in Lookout-Mountain-livery. They have a metal body with plastic accessories, as always. The new vehicle is Darcy the Driller. She also has a metal body, and her cab, tracks (which don't move, because she moves on hidden wheels) and arm with a drill are made of plastic.
