Sorry, but that's not Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks or even Blue Sky. It's actually a George Miller film involving several different production companies (Animal Logic, Village Roadshow Pictures 'and' Kingdom Feature Productions). P.S., the sequel happened to be such a big box office bomb that it even forced Miller to close Dr. D. Studios.
LOL...is it really necessary to fact check a joke?

I really enjoyed making that funny video, and didn't care about the origin of the penguins, production companies etc. I didn't even mention the names of the penguins in the video... The figurines came in surprise eggs, by the way. When it comes to having a good time, facts are really not that important, are they? Smile

PLARAIL TRAINS & LINES 31: Thomas & Friends Keihan 3000 Comfort Saloon

The Keihan 3000 series is an electric multiple unit limited express train type operated by the private railway operator Keihan Electric Railway in Japan since 2008. As of 1 April 2016, the fleet consists of six eight-car trains, formed as follows with three motored cars and five non-powered trailer cars; the Mc and M cars are each equipped with one single-arm pantograph. Passenger accommodation consists of 2+1 abreast transverse seating, with longitudinal seating at the car ends; each car has a wheelchair space. The 3000 series trains were introduced in October 2008, coinciding with at the opening of the Keihan Nakanoshima Line, it was used on most service patterns, but was redeployed on limited express services. The trains received the Laurel Prize in 2009.

Plarail model is a fine one-speed-motor three car train with excellent (and adequate) blue/white coloring and very discrete Thomas & Friends insignia on the body. Like Keihan 700, it's not a fully wrapped train; the windows and doors on the sides are „real“, not just stickers. There are nice banners and little flags on the sides of the cars. Keihan 3000 has a specific look with nice silver line between the two colors on the body of the cars, and a very unusual, distinctive and recognizable front lights, faithfully represented on the model.

It's a very nice and realistic model – with just one fail: if they couldn't fit the „Thomas and Friends“ inscription on the upper part of the drivers cab, where it belongs, why on earth did they put it on the roof? Nevertheless, it's a great model of the Thomas & Friends Keihan wraps series, and surely a nice addition to any Plarail layout.
