Very nice! I love the look of the Enoden's. They kind of remind me of the trolley I used to ride as a kid in Philadelphia.

Oh, yes, Philadelphia's PCC cars had a similar colour scheme (Route 15 Girard Ave. was operated by refurbished PCC trolleys; Trolley service is anticipated to return on that route in late 2021.)

The PCC trolleys (as many other trolleys) would look awesome as plarail models, now, wouldn't they?  Wink

MTR is a Hong Kong railway system and was already featured in the PLARAIL TRAINS & LINES 34 video which garnered over 3700 views (I suppose it's because of the popularity of the train itself) and thus became my most watched video, which is why I decided to re-introduce this fantastic system. Besides, it's not as hellishly hot today as it is these days, so I grabbed my cell phone and filmed these beautiful trains! Big Grin

The MTR is large (over 140 miles), clean, reliable, almost always arrives on time (in 99.9 percent of cases), very cheap, perfectly covers the city and is so profitable that it even finances the city (and not the other way around, as is generally the case with all transport companies). Every day, the MTR performs 5 million rides. It is one of the most efficient transportation systems in the world. Plarail model is a beautiful one, so it deserves another video, doesn't it?

"over 5 million trips made in an average weekday" That is hard to believe, and if it does make over 5 million trips then that "99.9% on time rate" is remarkable.

Another interesting fact about MTR: The private sectors builds and finance for the MTR system.  In return they get to keep all the profits for the first 100 years of operation.  After 100 years of operations, the ownership will return to the government.

The tomy's "M" train is based on the rebuilt version with the new front end.  5 sets iirc were refurbished for the 3rd time to run on the Disney Line.  the 3rd rebuilds is automated.

The M trains' date are numbered.  So if you have the chance to ride them, do so soon.
