More so with a Layout where there are 2 different Loops crossing with 2 trains.

I would have to assume that the springs would lose tension after 45 years in the stretched position like they are in the package.

Nice video Vio. Love those Salon cars although If I had some loose used ones I would be making some modifications LOL Big Grin

Getting used ones are not as easy, say around 8000 yen on Mercari or more than 13000 on Yahoo Auctions. Good luck.

I have seen them much cheaper than that. I have noticed them sometimes on large Lots too but you are right they aren't that easy to find.

C-12かもつれっしゃ, C-12 Freight Train. Took long to upload because the motor was dead inside.

That train is in such great condition for its age. I like that On/Off switch on this, is this an exclusive switch only found on this C-12? I also like the car which has so much details to it, more-so than any other plastic Plarail car I remember seeing and it has working wheels. A great little set.

This switch is also in the EF-66 double couplings. The car is the same one in D51きしゃ, also is quite a rare vehicle.

Great pick up Vio. I was always drawn to this set. Yours is in pretty good condition except for the box top being a little rough.

When they released the remake of the Yoshitsune 7100 - 7105 around 2016 I always thought they used the same mold. I don't think I have ever noticed a piece of track that had the old Boy & Girl Tomy Logo on it like the Stop & Go piece in this set. I see all the track pieces other than the U-Turn pieces are smooth surface but the train doesn't seem to lose any traction going around. Love that station.

Curious as to why the set includes those 2 track adapter pieces but I don't see the need for them in your the Layout. Is the 'clacking' normal?
