I have run other types of N scale trains but not tomix I am very interested in the N scale Thomas and that I heard it is discontinued it is a great timke to snap some up as they will be collectable in the future. They (N scale) sure have come a long way from when I was a child and they were fiddly and didn't run well. I use kato unitrack and it all clips together beautifully and the trains sure do love it. My best running loco is a kato Santa Fe F7 unit and a Graham Farish BR class 47 and a class 08.
I heard that they planned edward and gordon. sad that they didn'tSad
clever,cheerful,confident. come on! It's emily!
A good place to get Thomas rolling stock is newhallstation.com. But be warned, the engines are 249 USD and the rolling stock is 70 USD
They are petty easy to find. In ebay I see them a lot. They have stations, the water mill, truck packs, windmill, Percy, James, Henry. and Thomas as well as Percy an Thomas sets. They are very nice and have changeable faces so they are nice to get! James if you really want one is your best bet as he is more likely to be found. It has James and 2 trucks so if you find him he is ok but I don't think he has changeable faces. I know that Percy does and he is pretty easy to find too! They are out there but be prepared to pay in the hundred mark for engines!

These are the only ones under the 200-500 dollar range. Thomas is way up there in 500 ad percy isn't found. Here is James, a station, and 2 express coaches.

Here is a truck pack I found!

From Thomas To Today's Modern Diesels, They're All A Part Of My Rail-Yard!

thanks guys.

we have an n scale layout at the club which needs major work. the last guy who had control of this layout slapped down the track, didnt ballast so its lifting, and contented himself with repainting the same section over and over. [how many times can a bit of water scene change color in a month?] he also took supplies meant for the HO layout, so when those guys went to use it, it was gone.

id like to run thomas on it eventually, along with our existing locos, so would be looking at the station etc as well. had the chance to buy thomas and percy a couple of years back, but i felt the seller wanted too much for them, and i didnt have the money either.

will keep an eye on ebay etc, so thanks for the links.

if you want a simple loop of great track that is small radius (that small tank engines can negotiate) then I recommend this. It is super quick to set up and take down and stores in it's packaging to keep it safe and is very reliable high quality track.

Here I have that loop but I am running HO narrow gauge engines on it

thanks for the video, chris. will keep it in mind.

the big n scale club layout has been worked on with one section of track replaced and a large chunk of scenery literally ripped off. needs more work, but seems to be ok for the time being. the whole thing needs ballasting, but that wont happen until the extention is finished, as it will relocate to in there and needs to be cut in half to be moved Tongue

on the tomix front, there will be an update in a week or so... Huh

ok here we go! n scale thomas, annie and clarabel.

part of a small range from tomix, i paid $161NZD. seems the seller might be importing from somewhere, as he listed another when this one closed. havent had a chance to run them yet, will have to go to the club for that.
they will be in action for our christmas show in 2 weeks, cant wait to see the reaction from the kids. thank goodness we stripped part of the scenery and repaired a large piece of damaged track.

there are another 3 engines in this range, and they are rare and very expensive. they wont be acquired anytime soon unless a really good deal comes up. there are also several pieces of rolling stock and scenery. my goal is to have the complete range, but that will be a long way away due to the expense.

There are some that could be custom made pretty easily like Neville and Diesel from various N scale manufacturers who do British stuff.
