lol, super. im pretty good at teasing. lol. i cant wait to see what i have either! both local shipments hopefully started their journeys yesterday. one is being delivered to me at work, and the other to home.

anyways, an unexpected purchase today. mum and i went to the next town, and ran into a friend we havent seen in about 11 years. shes managing one of the thrift shops down there, and gave us a tip-off on a new end-of-lines store. we stopped in on the way home, and i found these 2 for $20 each. the store had about $300 worth, give or take. wish i could have afforded to buy the rest.

the talking station i will likely give to a friend son, as i already have one. only grabbed it since it was so cheap. lol.

well guys, amazing buy #1 arrived today. i had to get a courier to collect, as it was a pick up only from a town 2 days drive away, lol. the seller did an amazing job with the packing... loads of bubble wrap and newspaper. i deposited an extra $10 as a thank you for the trouble taken.
the photos she used were terrible and it was listed as a plastic train set. no mention of tomy, thomas, tomica or disney anywhere. Big Grin
i had it delivered to work. it was packed in a beer carton. got a few looks walking through the factory with a case like that in my arms. lol Blush

in total, i got all this for $45. [not including shipping.] the tan train, dr yellow and grumpy thomas all need major work. yep, thats another troublesome tanker there.

yes, i did say disney! the auction came with 5 plakids, which fit in the coach. havent tested this yet as i havent worked out how to open it. will fiddle with it more.

this i ordered from ebay and it also arrived today. i hope to replicate the mickey-shaped track set using double track. have another pair of these coming from jauce.

Nice grabs Sunhuntin and you got the fine detailed Mickey Mouse train too. I am sure the children will love to see that one running at one of you clubs open house shows. I will also like to see the two rail Mickey Mouse track layout too! Smile

here it is, finally!! this cost me about $130NZD, bought from the seller i got the boxed grumpy thomas siding set from back in june. she emailed me and we negotiated a price back and forth, settling on $100.

its pretty big, but i would limit to a year old child. it has stickers celebrating 35 years of plarail. to my knowledge was only sold in japan.

will get better photos this weekend. just a quick shot between getting home from work, having tea and heading to the club.

Oh, wow, what child isn't going to love hopping on that for a ride around the rails. How much rail came with it?
thanks, super. it came with a full circuit of track. i just didnt have time to get it all out, lol. at this stage, kids will not be allowed on. it seems like a rare item [google images only found one other], so want to protect it.

took a few mins tonight and set up the tracks. it looks really good! in the middle i used the same tracks but in normal size, to show the size difference.
for some reason, the tracks are not marked tomy or anything else. all the pieces have a hole in each end sleeper, which means i will be able to peg it down to the club lawn to hold it together on the slight slope.
