Promotional Material Discussion

Thank you so much for this, I love these. Now I've seen the 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2014 DVDs.

These videos give me good tips and ideas in mind for making a big layout, placing of rolling stock, and how the engines are running. I nearly always keep the engines attached to the cars they came with. It took me a while to realize that these layouts are just a whole lot of giant connected loops. It's good to see that there was more experimenting this year with that constantly switching double track and the ascending and descending section. The kid with the setup at the end concerned me, I wanted to see them running, it looked strange seeing all of them placed in odd parts sitting still.

I think of all material, I'm most interested in Motor Road and Rail things just because they are so hard to find and it's something to look at in English. This is a product sheet from 2006 showing all the engines and vehicles. Sorry for the small size as I found this on Google and I'd love to know what the other side looks like if there is one. I haven't bought a brand new MRR set for a long time and I assume these come with them. Anyone have one?

Plus, if you guys want to keep track of your Christmas and New Year buying and product release dates, here's a Plarail Disney Dream Railway five month calendar in two sizes which I believe also doubles as wallpaper.

I would have to go through all my product boxes as I leave all promotional papers and catalogs inside them to see what I have maybe after this weekend of work I will have the energy to do so.

I happen to have a catalog of all Plarail products with the years sold from 1959 to 1999. It's several pages long. I will need to find it though. I can't remember where I left it. I don't find it particularly useful because it only shows the Japanese releases.

Because we aren't interested in the Thomas line and except for the 3 F-Units released by Tomica World in the States, the Japanese trains are the only ones we like.

I got a copyright strike from youtube for uploading that, not really fair as I was providing a service and TOMY themselves haven't bothered to upload it either Sad
@Ucwepn,

Although I'm also interested in the DVDs, I would have to disagree with you.

The DVD from a content perspective is just like any other DVD movie you would buy from a store. It is therefore protected by the same rights. Technically, by uploading a DVD where the content is only authorised to be viewed for personal reasons onto a video sharing site, you are violating copyright.
On the other hand, if you were to upload the commercials and get punished for that, then I would certainly agree that it is unfair.
