Track Pack...Anyone Seen Them?

I noticed this morning that Platetsu says they are limited release items only available from TakaraTomy Mall.

Meanwhile Plaza Japan describes them as Takara Tomy Mall Plarail Real Straight Rail. Presumably Plaza Japan has some sort of agreement to allow them to sell them as well?

I've used them four or five times and everything has gone smoothly each time.

No problem with Plaza Japan's speed and packing. Any problems experienced have been with the shipper Fedex "Express" (ha, ha) once the stuff arrived in the UK, with customs, duty collection, etc, which are uniquely UK-specific issues, and apply to anything we order from abroad these days. The system is broken.

Thanks for your opinion Dr Chris. Hopefully I don't have the same experience here in the States as I chose FedEx Express also for the order I just made.

Well I don't think I will be buying from Plaza Japan anymore...they just cancelled and refunded me the entire 13191 yen purchase with the excuse they made an inventory error and their suppliers were contacted to no avail.

If anyone sees these available somewhere else please let me know.

And the curve rail now showing as out of stock. Back to being a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive then. Surely they'll be made more generally available sometime in the future, if Real Class takes off?

I would have thought that they would show up on the Yahoo Auctions by now with those trying to make a buck or two.

I would be curious if the sales of the two Real Class trains met Plarail's anticipated goals or more. I sure do hope the tracks take off then maybe they would produce more switches, ramps, turnouts etc. At least they didn't go Trackmaster/Matel/Fisher Price route of completely redesigning their tracks and make them not compatible with their original line.
