I don't imagine the price of these will be affected, since the new release doesn't have the highly distinctive sound function.

Thanks Dr Chris...my hero!

I had no idea that the original had sound. So there was never one released without sound before this new one? Geesh...I don't recall sound when years ago I had interest in obtaining one of these 2100s.I also didn't no it was re-released in 2016. Stickers, stickers... 😡

Regarding the new Rainbow Bridge Set... I just noticed that there are as many as 12 stickers that the buyer must apply. And everything is full of stickers! That big rainbow would be lovely and would look "magical" if printed semi-transparent on a clear plastic. But no. The big rainbow is a sticker, and big stickers could be problematic if you fail to stick them properly the first time. Thomas' body with the number and the rainbow - also stickers, even the front windows, and the back lamp!! Not only that nothing is printed, but you have to apply all the stickers yourself!

Personally, I do like the factory to install stickers which sometimes does a better job and if they are off you can always return the item and exchange it for another. If their business decision is making the purchaser put them on to keep the costs down thats fine but then they should at least offer up extra sticker sheets for sale if one makes a mistake.

I can agree with Mister No, as I once applied stickers on the trackmaster 2 hi-speed Thomas jump set, did it wrong and it just looks bad

Should really be printed on

Suzukawa visited Tokyo Toy Show 2022. Some new releases of Plarail are at the beginning of the video, but there are other interesting releases as well.

They had the Plarail C12 in it, the one that was KF-01.

@MisterNo
Thank you for the Link to the Tokyo Toy Show Video. Its sure nice to know that maybe Japan is on its way back from the Wuhan Virus, hope to see an in person Plarail Expo in the future also. Guess they didn't get permission to show off or at lease a sneak peek at the Jurassic World Dominion Train from Universal Studios due to be release in Japan first week of July. I wonder if the release of the movie isn't until July in Japan as it has been released here in the States since June 10th? I see that Suzukawa is close to the One Million Subscriber Mark...good for her. Even thought I don't understand a work she is saying I enjoy watching her videos.

@Chrisjo
Thank you for the above breakdown of Plarail train items as I wasn't looking forward to watching an hour and 20 minute video just to see what I am interested in

Answering my own question, it is of course the 2018 S-24 Panda Kuroshio Smile Adventure Train (Dedicated Connection Specification). I must have been having a 'Super' moment there.
