Yes, pretty much exactly the same as in the previous black version...

I had forgot about that one, thanks Dr Chris. If memory serves, we may have discussed that one on whether that SUV came with the train or not. I do notice in the video that those panels on the lower nose are on the lead and trailing engine are still there. And indeed, all the windows and passengers are on stickers.

March 22nd 2024, new limited Sound Enoden 1000 series 2-car.

Originally released in July 2009 as S-47, the 'new paint' (i.e. mostly green) 1000 series #1201/1251 was discontinued in 2017.

The Enoden press release says that " we have created a new version to be reprinted and sold exclusively at Enoden goods shops ", but it's not clear if or how it differs from S-47. The picture shows the leading vehicle and the destination board with the same markings as S-47.

Thanks for the heads up Dr Chris. Just looking at the pictures doesn't look to be any changes including the clip-on shell for the lead car. I could be missing something or that picture is just a copy from the original and may not show the actual new release.

March 22nd 2024, limited Tokyu Corporation 5050 series 4000 series. At first sight it looks like a straight re-issue of the 2013, 2017 and 2022 train, but the press release seems to be saying that it will have a newer AA cell chassis instead of the old C cell chassis. And it will come in a new box.

Thanks Dr Chris. I wonder what criteria the people in the meetings use to chose what trains they want to redo and reissue instead of something new.

Thanks Dr Chris. I am sure that the colors and all the characters will appeal to the toddlers which will indoctrinate them into the next step of wanting the regular Plarails...hmmm...wonder if this is one of the criteria they use when discussing trains in the board rooms. They also seem to be the ES series by looking at the small middle coaches.

Also, another Real Class trains are teased on Takara Tomy channel. https://youtu.be/bE6cf3m3UBQ

Very clearly, one of them is EF66, the other I can't really tell.

It would be the first locomotive train in Real Class series. (if that makes sense)

Thanks Hano, you can tell that Plarail is a big teaser with the dark, black and white image 😆. In addition to wondering if they will ever make a Real Class Steamer (discussed before), if they will every make cargo haulers in Real Class.
