Yes I'd say you could probably fit what I used in the case, that is something to try in future Big Grin

Trackmaster 2 Timothy, Tale of the Brave Unboxing review and first run

This new type Timothy seems to to run a lot better on the blue track than some of the others reviewed. Doesn't seem like as much slippage. Is that due to the added weight do you think? And is that background image behind the unboxing from a store display? It looks quite large. The rear lamp seems to be off center, is this painted or a sticker. What do you think causes the couplers to come unhooked as you say in your comments?

Hi some interesting questions Big Grin Thanks for the interest hehe

1) Timothy does run better as I have cracked the formula for weighting up them dead centre! I'll let you in on a secret about my Gator review, I initially had the drive wheel in backwards and it was slipping on the gear excessively.

2) Background image is a large wall poster that was block mounted. Still appears to be brand new yay for thrift stores!

3) rear lamp is painted on / a tampo (a printed on design)

4) the new silver couplers have a nasty wide split and the plastic is way too flexible. This causes the hook to pop out often and cause accidents (which aren't ideal if they happen at the back where I can't reach)

That poster is just so clear, nice find. What does the SCC stand for on Timothy's boiler?

It's stands for Sodor China Clay Super Smile that's where he and Bill and Ben work.

Thanks T-R-Y

So I take it that Bill Ben and Timothy were in the same episode?

Bill, Ben, and Timothy all appear in "Tale of the Brave", and the following Season 18 episode, "No Steam Without Coal". Other than that, each is a background character seen throughout the season and, presumably, the rest of the show as it continues to air. Timothy and Marion have become, I suppose, iconic characters alongside Bill and Ben within the Sodor China Clay Pits.
