4080 pieces. the book was massive, about 600 pages? cant actually recall and its packed away for safe keeping. yes, the figs came with it, plus another 2 that are in the back as statues. so essentially 7 minifigs.

Sure, then I would have a firework display over it just like at the real Cinderella Castle but the fireworks would be inside this time... [Image: free-evil-grin-smileys-750.gif]

Hi Super

Unfortunately thats is not a complete set of all the ones released for the theme, if I had the money to collect all of them I definitely would yet some individual ships can set you back £120 - £250 as they have been discontinued. I will have to take some more photos of my lego collection as I have a ton of it!

My brother in law just came across a monkey and all the minifigures from his pirate sets. Keaton was thrilled! He found most of the pirate ship but no manual Sad
We plan to make it the soldiers ship since he got the pirate ship last year. That's the next project. Now all he's into is the Lego trains at the moment. Lol.
We have finally settled into our new place (346 square feet). Now the kids have the room to set up train sets indoors again!! I will post a pic of the ship MOD when we get to it!

it weighs a fair bit. even worse, where its going to live is on a unit just below shoulder height, so had to lift it a fair way, and the top half is designed to be easily removed. that means, the slightest tilt when moving, and its coming off. already broke it once. once apart, the two halves can be moved safely enough.

at a guess, it took 10-12 hours, give or take, just pottering slowly. doing an hour or so at a time.

its almost a metre tall, and about half a metre across.

ksthomas, have you seen the new winter village train set? designed to run with power functions [bought seperately of course $$].

Yes!! You were the one that posted about it didn't you? Keaton has been wanting the Disneyland Monorail (the orange one) for quite some time. I'll probably wind up getting the new Christmas one from Santa Smile I dont want to wait til next season and have it be gone and pay double! We have several Winter Village sets already. It will go so well with the others. Is the holiday calendar bonus available where you are? (Free with a $99 purchase). And we have the parts to make it run. Lego sent parts to make the blue cargo train non powered. (No charge of course ...I love Lego!)
Has anyone else had the train and remote make this VERY high pitched noise when they run?? Any solutions would be GREATLY appreciated!

The Flying Time Vessel is my favourite LEGO ship, if you can call it a ship: http://brickset.com/sets/6493-1/Flying-Time-Vessel

that flying ship is awesome!

ks, yes, i did make a post about it a while ago. Smile no freebie for us, at least not a christmas one at this stage. if i had bought star wars i would have got a storm trooper or something. should have waited, but bought early to avoid risking "sold out".

as to your high pitch power functions, join up with eurobricks. theres a train forum on there, which should be able to help you. im a member, under the same name as here.

Wow, I didn't know you were on Eurobricks! I attempted to sign up there, but I was never able to finish the full procedure so my account expired and had to be deleted. Similarly, I tried to join MOCPages, but the validation Email never arrived and they got rid of the 'report a problem' service long before my sign up attempt.
