What did you do to your trains today?

They probably used the same mold as the see through boxcars. Is this the set you were referring to?

That's the one, Super! I've already got one, but might buy a second one for that C-Cell high-powered motor for another engine.

Have we seen the see through box cars in one of your videos Hank?

Not yet, I'm afraid; it was one of the new engines I had purchased following my second model showcase video.

Looking forward to the next showcase. [Image: nodding-yes-by-a-very-happy-smiley-emoticon.gif]

Thank you, Super. I've already begun to film it, but just waiting to raise money to pay for shipping for my latest wins on Jauce.com so I can use the track, engine, and rolling stock in my video.

In regards to what has been done to my engines today, or should I say spares, I've been busy working to create a three-truck Heisler logging locomotive out of a spare F.P. Ferdinand I won in a lot of things on eBay a few months ago, and am working with my old HiT Toys TrackMaster Hiro to create U.P.'s #844 steam locomotive with a spare tender from Neville, though may change the number to prevent any sort of issues from arising from my YouTube audience.

Also, anyone have any inkling of an idea where I can purchase a smokebox door for my Hiro engine and print transparent decals so I can put "Union Pacific" on my spare Neville tender? ._.

The small beginnings of my worries with these customs.

As far as the Smokebox door I have been getting them from THIS UK Ebay seller. If you find an outlet here in the States please let me know. Don't assume the door I linked you too is the one I used on our Hiro as I can't remember which one. Once you have removed Hiros face plate, measure the inside and outside diameter in mm's and then compare to the measurements in the various listings. If I remember correctly I found one that almost fit perfectly as you can see from the picture below.

As to making your own decals, I have found that the ones using ink jet printers will not show up very well on dark surfaces like black. The same holds true in using clear glossy labels. Best you go with the professional decal like the Microscale like I use. You also have to be careful of those selling custom decals on Ebay as a lot are the same as using decal sheets for the ink jet printers. I buy mine from THIS Ebay seller. I buy both "HO" and "N" gauge for these trains as some HO decals are a tad too big in size.

Can't wait to see the finished custom Hank!

Thank you Super! It's a great relief knowing I've got some things to purchase in regards to decals for decent prices. Might buy two of the smokebox doors, as I've a knack for things going wrong, hence the case of the Heisler rebuild.

Remember, don't just buy the door I linked you too, measure first. I actually had bought quite a few smoke box doors of various sizes from this seller as it was cheaper on the shipping and to have several on hand for more defacing. And if you do manage to find a USA seller let us know. I am sure there have to be but I can't locate any.
