What do you mean "debate"
this particular piece is old.
there have been many "silver" trains-over time.
a gold, a silver and a bronze.
these "colors" have existed over time.
they have existed on many different formats-in regards to these trains.
yet! in just this past year...
a silver merlin, and a silver thomas. these are just based on battery operated trains.
yet! these colors, have been proven, on different formats. over time

we all know that there is a gold thomas. that has been proven.

what makes you... any of you... think...

that "A TRAIN" "ANY TRAIN"
is "NOT" in your format?

the evidence is so abundantly clear!?
Once again...what are we debating???
weather or not
a silver percey exists
a battery operated silver percy exists
a plarail battery operated silver percy exists

and if you can grasp that.
then, and only, then can one grasp that a bronze diesel exists.

a battery operated, plarail bronze diesel.

can anyone tell me?
that a silver percy, a battery operated silver percy?
does not exist?

Well since you Posted the picture and in the Plarail/Tomy Forum it seems you already know the answer to your own debate so why don't you let us know the information and join a discussion not a debate.

i wish i could.
but even if i could-on my own-
mind you.
then i would
but unfortunately i'm not on my own
that is why i come here.
to all of you.
we are all the same.
just pushing different boundaries.

my "views" are just theory
i push to find concrete evidence.
many of you relate "concrete" evidence to photos-tangible "objects"
i have it in my hand-if you will

text is always subject to personal/ emotional interpretation

i hope i am communicating to all of you

i wish to take time.
a moment of pause.

but i come with knowledge. and, in addition, to this...
evidence supported by"my theory"
nothing more...
but! nothing less

No idea what's going on in this thread. What Trevor has posted is a Tomica Percy from the old range that had no couplings. I've never heard of or seen a Silver Plarail Percy and I don't think it exists.

The Gold Thomas, Silver Percy, Bronze Diesel lineup does exist in the wooden railway line, and were made for the 60th anniversary of the franchise.

Merlin is chrome in the Trackmaster 2 range, while the Plarail is simply a silver color. Tekoro 'Metal' Thomas is based on a scene in "Journey Beyond Sodor" where metal castings of Thomas are shown.

So now my confusion is this, originally you Posted for "debate" now it seems like all you are asking is a question to gather information.

If its just a question...Plarail Capsule (wind-up) makes just about all Thomas characters in, plated, form (gold, bronze, silver)

I am also confused as to the picture. Is this your toy, your picture? If so why only one picture of one angle or is it meant to deceive? Are there identifying or makers marks anywhere(Logos etc)?

Or maybe you didn't mean 'debate' at all but more of a guessing game or a 'whats this' game. Or just a plain question like 'Does anyone know if there is a plated Percy?

Yes, a Tomica Silver Percy exists. It was released as a promotional item in April 2008.The promotion involved sending in a coupon from a book. A Gold Thomas was also made at the same time. The Tomica Thomas range is a small die-cast vehicle range which has been made since 2005. The earlier vehicles lacked couplings and carriages to pull.
