Do You Remember These YouTubers???

Do you remember these older YouTube Channels that may have been a big influence on you when first getting into these trains in the earlier days of YouTube?

Besides everybody's number one influencer, our own Patriarch here at BPT's (Link) UCWEPN  there have been many that made me into what I have become today.

What about you? Have any YouTubers that may have really excited you on collecting these toys or introduced you to items you had never seen before?

I will kick this off with who was one of the Original BPT's members and part of the Staff (way before me) do you remember (Link) ToysTrainsThings  Just loved the guy and his videos. A big help to me in deciding what I wanted.

Or how about this YouTuber...he doesn't have a lot of Plarail/Tomy videos but many years ago he had some pretty good ones. (Link) MegatropolisInertia

Who remembers this great YouTuber (Link) wasinojinsei  Fabulous no frills just plain unboxings that shows exactly what comes with a train. A fantastic source to this very day of Plarails both new and old.

A lot of you younger Members may have never heard  or seen this YouTube from many years ago but this fellow taught me what exactly was a Custom Layout. Not many videos but what he does have are masterpieces. (Link) thomasfriends12

I only knew Wasinojinsei existed when I was looking for trains to add to someone's drive unit document and found many of the videos show what said items look like on the inside. Their videos helped me a lot when it came to that.

Either way: the YouTubers who made me find out how much there really was to Thomas, Plarail, other toy/model trains and (to a lesser extent) LEGO were largely the same ones who attracted other people to those fandoms/hobbies back then. In no particular order:
  • MissOliverandBlossom
  • TrainLover476
  • Trainboy7
  • CaptainPunjab
  • Ramahfool
  • Thomasfan8
  • EliJBrown
  • Etenks1
  • ToyTrains4U
  • JJSchepis3
  • Sparkshot
  • DieselD199
  • Rexeljet
  • Topkazfatt
  • TurboJUK
  • Simierski

However, there's one other Australian like Ucwepn who left a much bigger impact on me than all of the above - Leokimvideo. Where do I even begin? I credit his videos for my introductions to Chuggington and Thunderbirds, products like Blu-Tack, cutting mats, GoPro cameras, HexBugs and WD-40, the whole concept of pyrotechnics, certain filming techniques and special effects, attention to fine detail in sets, props and models and a plethora of other things. Unfortunately, I even began to impersonate him, his accent and dialect (e.g., "crikeys") in ways that would've surely made him furious if I were to meet him. That said, it did help me improve my accent in English after I toned it down in later years.
