Warped Track

The replacement packages came and as I feared they both had warped track, so I'm going to stick with the blow dryer method and straighten them out myself. So I'm guessing there's a whole case of warped track sitting in an Amazon warehouse somewhere.

I agree Bob about the whole case being warped. I hope you can work it out.

Fantastic Bob. Love all the trains and that cargo yard and the foam caved mountain looks great. Will the layout continue to the left with those open ended double tracks?

Sorry, I was out of town for a few days. Yes, the double switches will lead to another section where I’ll have a city. When I started with Plarail I always liked the Tomica/Hypercity buildings but they are hard to find and often overpriced. Then I found the Matchbox Action Driver series. They fit in okay and the line continues to be expanded. I had a few of them on the layout last year. This year I have quite a few more. Again, not a perfect fit but they do look cool with the trains running past them.

Anxious to see the extended area too. 😃 Thats what I love about your xmas Layouts Bob...always going for something new every year and not just simply repeating what you have built in the past because its easier. I know you put a lot of thought into these for the enjoyment of all who will visit and see your creation. Thank you for sharing with us 👍😃

Thank you for the kind words. I get so much inspiration from the people of this group. Here’s an update on the city section. Not completely happy with it, so changes will probably be ongoing.
