They are not missing necessarily. The flyer sometimes shows product for two waves. For example it was 2016/1-2 then we got the one you're referring to which is 20163-4. So what was not in wave 3 will come out in wave 4.

Can we now say this is the official NA list for wave 3? Disregard past numbering system and begin anew without comparing it to UK as we have done in the past. I believe doing so will cause less confusion with future releases unti FP changes it yet again.

Thanks, I added Graffiti Paxton and Electrified Henry to the "Coming soon?" list at the bottom.
I'm assuming those will all be coming in Wave 4, along with:

• Double Bubble Gordon
  
• Iron 'Arry
  
• Creature Troublesome Truck
  
• Sports Edward
  
• Creature Stanley
  
• 4 or so DC engines
  

That would be 8 (9 in North America) "new in 2016" engines, after 11 in Wave 1, 12 (15 in North America) in Wave 2, and 9 (12 in North America) in Wave 3.

And to head off the inevitable questions no I have no idea when Wave 4 will be released! But it seemed like it was about 2 months between Waves 1 and 2, and about 4 months between Waves 2 and 3, so I'd guess that Wave 2 just accidentally shipped a little early and Wave 4 will arrive in about 3 months (early- or mid-October).

Found some 2016/3 in a couple of the Target stores in Orlando, FL. None at walmart that I have seen.

Do you mean the numbers printed on the bottom by the engine's name, like "H17A?" Because that's just a manufacturing date code (H = 2016; 17 = 17th week of the year (mid April)); I haven't heard of anyone doing that but I guess you could collect different versions, but if the factory has any consistency (ISO-9001...) there shouldn't be any difference week-to-week.

Or do you mean the numbers imprinted on the plastic itself in the interior of the train, like "CGM30 2129 11?" I'm not sure what those are for; I started to try to make a spreadsheet of my trains but stopped pretty quickly when I realized many engines shared the same values so there wasn't anything unique about them.

yes the printed number on the bottom by the engines name. thanks for clarifying that i only mention it cause the new batcave batman has different code the other batmans and so do 2016 duplicates and so on all mine are open cause my son plays with them and dont wont to rack my brain on keeping the code with release date together we just collect each theme no duplicates if possible

i only collect the variations. thats expensive enough without chasing date codes.
