Thank you so much for taking a chance on something different Smile

Did you open them? If so, how do they roll, compared to the official minis (weighted and non-weighted)? Are they weighted inside, and how do the metal bodies seem to affect play? Did you notice much variation within the 6 in your set?

Hope you don't mind so many questions, but they are like an alternate-universe version of the Minis and I'm curious about "what might have been" Smile

Hey drewbenn! I just sent you a DM.
Attn Canadian Minis collectors. Walmart.ca has the 50 pack on for $49.94. Limited supplies. Good price if you still need the warrior minis. Happy shopping
Wow this page has been so quite as of late. Has anyone been finding new product? The 2018 Minis seem to be slow to come out and whatever is out there seems to be quite limited. Has anyone found product anywhere else other than Target USA? Maybe we’ll have to wait to hear more news from the New York toy fair at the end of February?
I found some new 2018 $4.99 3-packs in a SF Bay Area Wal-Mart:
Classic Ferdinand + Neon Splatter Hiro + Crayon James;
Dragon Spencer + Neon Splatter Thomas + Robot Toby;
Classic Porter + Neon Splatter Percy + Pop Art Annie;
Pop Art Thomas + Classic Rosie + Camo Bertie;
Classic Diesel + Monkey Percy + Blackberry Charlie;
I forgot to include some of the id codes in the pics

Thank you very much for these great updates! It’s really good to see that there is new product hitting stores! Canada seems to be about a year behind in what product we have. The newest item is 2017 wave 2. So terrible. Really hope Mattel gets this figured out soon and actually puts some effort into distributing new product.
Awww shucks, my 103 year old Grandpa is not allowed to play with Minis. Why Fisher-Price, why?

Thanks for the pictures Mike and Shyguy, I'll be watching for the launch set since it's the only exclusve apart from the superstation james. I don't see any new ones so far.
With new packaging and all, It’s looking like they’re going strong with this line of trains for a little while still. I can’t help but sort of want them to end it soon, but that’s mostly due to selfish reasons. I won’t stop buying them; I’m way too invested at this point. However, I really dislike the way they randomly distribute everything and are constantly forcing the obsessive collectors to buy huge packs just for 1-3 exclusive trains. I have hundreds of extras and it’s almost all because i had to buy the same ones over and over again just to get one new one. Super station James is the epitome of that. I don’t know what I’ll do if they do that crap again.

If they rolled these trains out properly and fairly to stores in my country my attitude would be a bit different. But the fact that still in Canada we have barely seen any 2017 waves (blind bags mostly) and it’s now 2018 is too frustrating to express. It really does feel like they ship all their extra unsold stuff here and it gets thrown on all our Walmart shelves. I know that’s not really true, but that’s almost how it feels.

Now that said, it feels good to be mostly caught up again. I just need the slimes still and whenever 2018 stuff starts to show up here.

Also one other reason I kind of want the line to end is because I want to make a really nice custom display case for all of them whenever they stop making them. Can’t wait for that.

im with you, reivax. i am massively behind, and super station james isnt even on my radar unless that set gets old over here. i will have to consider importing from aussie otherwise, which would likely add another $100 to the price tag.
